My friend and very talented writer Jackie Turner created this portrait. She and I took a sketching class together last month and hit the Denver Botanic Gardens on May 15th for a quick-sketch session – capturing early Spring blooms and Henry Moore sculptures. This fast sketch was brought to life with colored pencils. I like it better than any photo!
